Goodbye Leicester

It have been 3 and a half eventful years since I joined University of Leicester as a lecturer and moved to Leicester (I thought about listing some events here, but this feels redundant as it is basically what the rest of this blog has been about). I have met many great colleagues in Leicester and around world where my role has taken me. I feel that the understanding of my role in research and teaching has matured a lot during the last years. I have been impressed by many bright and talented students at University of Leicester and I am happy to have shared their struggles and success over the last few years.

My now former employer University of Leicester

Although I have now left Leicester, I hope to stay in contact with many colleagues, students, and friends I made in Leicester and internationally. I would like to thank you all for your support and wish for all the best to those staying, leaving, or who have already left.

See you soon,
Jan
