Answering Questions about Driverless Cars on BBC Radio Leicester

This morning from 9:00 to 9:30 I was on BBC Radio Leicester to discuss autonomous vehicles.

The show had collected questions from college students that they wanted answered as part of the British Science Week celebration.

These questions included:

  1. Do driverless cars require people to have driving licences?
  2. What fuel would driverless cars use in the future?
  3. If two driverless cars have an accident who is to blame – the manufacturer or the person in the car?
  4. If you had a driverless car would you still have to pay car insurance?
  5. Do you expect everyone to drive driverless cars in the future or would people be able to drive themselves?

You can listen to the show hosted by Ben Jackson at https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p082z5vy.
