Royal Society Summer Science Exhibition 2019

We are honored and extremely happy that our work on autonomous vehicles has been selected to be exhibited at the Royal Society Summer Science Exhibition 2019. Our proposal with the title Trusted Autonomous Vehicles has been selected as one of 21 (out of 70) proposals made by different universities and research institutes in the UK.

The Royal Society was founded in 1660 and is the oldest national scientific institution in the world. Today the Royal Society supports research and mobility of scientists. Some of their fellows include Isaac Newton, Alan Turing, and Stephen Hawking.

The Summer Science Exhibition organized by the Royal Society will take place in their historic building in the center of London in July 2019. The University of Leicester will come with a delegation of scientists and students to present our research to the public. Every year the exhibition welcomes around 14,000 visitors.

Nervo an I have traveled to London for a planning day where we met the other scientists that will be presenting with us in July. We also learned that we still have a lot of work ahead of us, to make our research ready to presented to schools and the general public over eight exciting and sometimes quite busy days in London.
